my enemy...

Yet another one of my 20-something neighbors died today of an overdose...
only 10 months after his little sister did,
and only a few months after another neighbor did.

I love my enemies, but make no mistake about it...
If you're dealing drugs in this neighborhood, you're my enemy.
And if you're buying from dealers, you're supporting my enemies.

Are you a recreational user who can "stop any time"?
Then stop now, before you contribute to the death of another person we care about.

Are you addicted and want to stop using? Come and join us on Friday nights @ 7.
Even before then, give us a call and we'll help you get help elsewhere.

If you want to stop selling, I'll support you 100%.
If you don't want to stop selling, I can do nothing but work for you to go to jail.

It's really amazing how

It's really amazing how accomodating some of our neighbors are for this sort of activity. Had to deal with some of the jetsom of it today. Even little kids defend the whole idea of not calling cops, not trying to stop it. The adults are like, "Yeah, all of those guys are heroin addicts. Been that way for years..."

Dan what was the guys first

Dan what was the guys first name? The only reason i'm asking is because you said he had a sister who did the same thing 10 months back. And that got me wondering. And i'm thinking of a specific person who had his younger sister die around the same time. And I know he has problems too.

Dan, 2 very complelling

Dan, 2 very complelling sermons today at church about this, I forgot to ask , what Kind of drugs were they, I guessing an opiate such as heroin or oxy (seems to be alot on the news), but nowadays who knows.
I Firmly stand behind all that has been said in the thread-If your using or selling crack, hereoin, pills, speed, meth, or what ever other chemical is the latest craze, please ask for help before its too late.
The program at summerfield is great plus Dan and several others here including myself know of other avenues of help. I will personally step up to the plate to help someone who geniunely wants help. Everyone also keep in our brothers and sisters in these situations in our prayers.

Don't forget the other casualties in this "war"--The people who genuinely need these types of pain meds to simply survive day to day. Thanks to the dirtballs, at least 1 major pharmacy is no longer carrying them.

Yeah, it's truly sad that a woman dying of cancer can't buy her pain medication at the nearest pharmacy because of the abuse that's happening with it.

Joe, I understand

Joe,
I understand completely- I suffer from a rare lung disease that reaks havok on my whole body. And While I dont take painkillers anymore(doctors doped me up for years) the people who abuse any drug make it harder for me to get the prescriptions I do take.
Big difference between use and abuse.
