I was just sitting in Rocket Cat at the bar for the last hour and it sure feels like that sometimes.

thank goodness the NHL season is almost over and hopefully the Flyers will go long so I can finally fit in.

it's a no win situation to me. I hate shaving and I'm glad I don't have employment in a line of work where I have to be freshly shaven when I go into work. but also, beard upkeep is a pain so to me it's almost easier to just shave it all off and not have to worry.

just pay kevin (of kevin's barber shop) to trim your beard up when it gets unruly.

but really, you may be the only one but there are a lot of (real) young men from the neighborhood who apparently have just gone through puberty that ought to shave regularly because the sparseness of their facial hair just looks sad.

ps. if you have been sitting in the rocket cat for a half-hour in the middle of the day you really have no room to make fun of things that hipsters do.

Be glad you are here and not

Be glad you are here and not in West Philly. Far more Civil-War era beards over there.

I'm a recent transplant from West Philly. lived there for the last 5 years. I know one guy there that I met about 15 years ago and I don't think he's trimmed his beard since the day I met him.
