Lost dog(s)???

If you have a white/tan Pit Bull (mix?) and/or a beagle (mix?), your dogs may be on the way to PACCA in a police car...if they could be caught.

I got out of my car and saw the Pit who was very, very afraid but after about 2 or 3 minutes when I was down on the ground, she came to me. Very shy, in good physical shape but sorely in need of a nail trim. Was trying to coax her towards my car when a police officer stopped, thought she was my dog as she ran out into traffic. When he heard she was a stray, he tried to get her into his car but she was too intimidated.

Enter beagle. Beagle may or may not have been owned by same person. Pit ran after beagle and I was afraid there would be blood...but oh no, the two dogs joined next to each other and ran faster than I could up towards York. The police officer followed and said he'd call the paddy wagon and PACCA--both which have leashes and things of this nature.

Please people...put collars on your dogs!!!

If you can't take care of 'em, you shouldn't have 'em.

That cracked me up for some reason. I actually pictured a beagle waiting off in the wings, waiting for his cue.

Well I say this and I full well know my furry boys are sitting next to me without collars...but they'd never run away when the front door is open and they're never in the fully-fenced non-escapable backyard unsupervised.

I have a feeling we're seeing all these dogs out because their folks thought they could stay outside and enjoy the weather and here they got out of the backyard!

Same here. I also thought of the long-forgotten Bruce Lee classic "Enter the Beagle."

I actually had to laugh when I was running after both the dogs together--it was a funny sight seeing a Pit and a beagle on the run together. The laughing admittedly slowed me down.
