so I actually watched the groundhogs day ritual on TV at the bar this morning. the whole thing with him seeing his shadow or not, was that just a legend? or has it always been that they just rip him out of a box and some douchebag pretends that he can speak groundhogeese or whatever they called it and makes the proclamation himself?

I've found I'm taking the cold much better this year for some reason but I still can't wait for Spring.
