Just want to post this link about the peanut butter/salmonella scare for those that eat PB. Note that Trader Joe's and Target (Archer Farms) are listed.

Good advice; also saw this scary item today on a news service I don't subscribe to (InsideHealthPolicy.com), and couldn't find anything more about:

Peanut Processor Knowingly Sold Salmonella-Tainted Products
The peanut processing plant responsible for the current salmonella outbreak did not notify regulators that its products tested positive for salmonella and sold them anyway, FDA officials said Tuesday (Jan. 27). Consumer advocates said FDA is passing up a good opportunity to call for a stricter law requiring companies to notify the agency when products test positive for foodborne pathogens.

Your Girl Scout cookies are not at risk. The Girl Scouts had a national press conference in which they assured the public that their peanut butter was not purchased from any of the suppliers that are being investigated.
