Hello I'm DNA and I'm in all

Hello I'm DNA and I'm in all of you. Creepy huh? Here is a little about me.

I am a nucleic acid that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms and some viruses. The main role of DNA molecules is the long-term storage of information. DNA is often compared to a set of blueprints or a recipe, or a code, since it contains the instructions needed to construct other components of cells, such as proteins and RNA molecules. The DNA segments that carry this genetic information are called genes, but other DNA sequences have structural purposes, or are involved in regulating the use of this genetic information.

It's a strange joke I have with my sister and some friends. I want a dog so much, but don't want to get one because I'm not home enough for it to be fair to the dog. Yeah, people have said, get a dogsitter or put the dog in doggy daycare while at work, but I just don't think it's fair to the dog. So, since I can't have a real dog right now, I choose to have a dog any way I can. And what better name for a dog than Anderson Cooper? He's handsome, seemingly well-behaved, intelligent, and I guess house-trained. Perfect.

I'm 32. Sagittarius, but I

I'm 32. Sagittarius, but I don't really believe in that stuff though anyone who is will tell you I'm a typical sagittarius.

Sarcastic/dry, but actually a nice person. I scare people when they first meet me. If you get to know me, you'll see I'm not really a female dog, even if that's your first impression of me.

I'm a hairstylist, but what I do doesn't define me. I love creative endeavors, but I also love learning which is why I'm in school. I'm currently obsessed with math.

I love animals. I have two dogs and 4 cats. I'm also vegan, but not a preachy vegan.

I'm the youngest of 6, and the only girl, which is probably why I'm kind of a tough lady.

I got married at age 21 to someone I met on the Internet. I don't have children.

Although I love my friends dearly, I'm an introvert, and I often need alone time.

I'm a huge David Bowie fan, and a nail biter.

I guess that sums it up.

Hello, My name is Stanford

Hello, My name is Stanford and I'm not an alcholic.

I live with David (8 years) who is away most of the week in Manhattan where he works for Dr. Jarvik making artificial heart assist pumps....He's very smart. I worked in the environmental services industry for 19 years, managing the cleanup of EPA Superfund sites. Now I rehab houses and enjoy life outside the corporate environment.

We have Weston who is our 13 year old Westie and Miss Thang (cat) who adopted us 4 years back.

We moved to East Kensington a couple of years ago from Old City. We have a couple of rental buildings in our old neighborhood but liked our little house in Kensington and the neighbors. I'm well into the rehab of our second East Kensington Property on York St. Anyone who wants to learn how to do home repairs is welcome to come watch an learn.

We have a nice collection of vintage Honda motorcycles and are always looking for riding partners or others interested in learning how to ride. David is a great instructor. I like to garden (I manage and maintain two community parks) do community cleanups and cook. Plus....I like old people.

I'm Chris. I'm 32 years old.

I'm Chris. I'm 32 years old. I recently moved to the neighborhood back in October. I never thought I'd want to live anywhere but West Philly but here I am.

I was born and raised in the Lawncrest section of Northeast Philly but spent most of my adult life in the Downingtown area.

I listen to a lot of old school crust and anarchopunk as well as a fair share of hiphop (both old and new school), metal and some older industrial stuff. I like a lot of gorey horror movies, especially pertaining to zombies, as well as british sitcoms such as Monty Python, Red Dwarf, Young Ones, etc.

I hate clubs and would much rather spend my time in a nice quiet beer bar drinking good beer, like Memphis Taproom.

I've been a vegetarian for about half my years on this planet. I do it mostly for ethical reasons.

I have a really bizarre/sick sense of humor that most people either don't understand, or even hate. oh well.

I have a dog and two cats. my housemate has a dog and a cat herself. it's a zoo here!

Speaking of which, I was recently kicked off the Wii version of American Idol in front of my wife and kids for my rendition of Pinball Wizard. Unfortunately, the judges don't give points for originality and stage presence (the world of popular music is so contrived anymore). Randy said, "Dawg, honestly, that was horrible." Then Paula said, "Ya know, I'm reeeaaalllly angry right now. I don't like it when people waste my time." I forget exactly what Simon said, but it was something along the lines of "atrocious, horrendous, and terrible in every way possible".

So, as you can tell, I'm not a singer. But, I can tell you all about LIHEAP and Crisis grants!

32, 2 dogs that once appeared on the cover of the Star, moved here 5+ years ago. Real estate agent and used to be an attorney when I moved here.

From Rochester, NY originally but most recently from Buffalo, NY and also lived in Manhattan for 2 years during undergrad.

Am a Mac junkie, one of those people that eats fish but not meat but would forgo "real food" for dessert, allergic to like half the stuff on the planet and have partial hearing in both ears. What????

My house is in constant state of being "rehabbed" and just when I think I finish, I find something else that needs to be done. ("Needs" is oddly defined for me.) (Now it's refinishing the floors.)

My hair color changes frequently (I'm now blonde) and I'm usually overdressed for most occasions/locations.

I'm Laura, I'm 31. I live

I'm Laura, I'm 31. I live in NoYo with my wonderful husband of almost four months, and our dog Brooklyn, and three cats, Buddy, Louie, and Kingsley. I was raised in North Jersey and moved to Philly in 2006, after living in Brooklyn for five years. I love Brooklyn (both the dog and the borough) to death, and I have a true love/hate relationship with Philly. Yes yes, there ARE actually moments when I love it, here.

I'm a lawyer who left public interest because I couldn't afford to keep doing it, and now hates being a lawyer. My true passion is knitting and crafting and I dream of doing it for a living, one day. The funniest part is that I learned to knit about six years ago, because my college friends were knitting a blanket for another college friends' wedding gift, but I was very adamantly opposed to becoming a knitter for fear of looking too "grandmotherly." And now I'm designing my own patterns and thinking about opening a fiber craft store. Ha!
