Every year we head down to Penn Treaty Park to watch the fire works at midnight on NYE.

Anyone who comes here, also, at the park?

I'm not SO into the library

I'm not SO into the library that I would begrudge this city its New Years fireworks, 2014! What kind of monster do you think I am??

Wait...don't answer that.

What would be really awesome would be if Comcast would charge every slackjawed tourist $1 to watch its gigantic television screen show and then give that money to the library. They could make millions off the suckers who make a special trip into the city just to watch a bigger version of what they have at home...plus, they get in my way while I'm trying to get lunch from DiBruno's and it's annoying.

Yeah, and all those

Yeah, and all those stupidheads watching the light show at Macy's get in my way while I'm shoe shopping.

Lighten up!

Usually, I take My Johnny, 3

Usually, I take My Johnny, 3 Grandsons, and all my neices and nephews to the Doubletree on the Blvd New Years Eve and New Years so that they can go swimming in the Indoor Pool. The Doubletree usually have lots of Parties there and we all go outside like 10 minutes to 12 and get ready with the noisemakers' and silly string. Costs me like $120.00 for 2 days of Swimming for all of us, its a nice time. This year though, because Johnny is 18, and an Adult (ya right) we aren't going, It's a shame for the other kids but I just would not be able to be there knowing my Johnny is out and about on NY's Eve with his idiot friends so I will probably sit home by my lonesome, calling him every 15 minutes to make sure he is OK

Here are some pics from prior years

Now THAT is what I'm talking about. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get into a Nude Spinning Dancers show? Their shows are sold out for MONTHS! Thanks for the heads up George.
