I'm tempted to say "Santa

I'm tempted to say "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians", but it's really "A Christmas Story". (I'm one of the few people who actually saw it in the movie theater when it was first released.) I almost want to say "Elf", because I like it so much - but the sleigh scenes in Central Park are kinda forced.

Right there with ya woman. I adore A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, Elf (we watch that all year..."worlds best cup of coffee...CONGRATULATIONS!" lol)...and have to add Nightmare Before Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street (the real one)...

I love a A Christmas Story

I love a A Christmas Story also. That came out when i was in high school and it was very popular at that time with my friends. A group of us went and seen it. The chicks that hung with us loved that movie. It's now a cult favorite.

"It's a Wonderful Life", no

"It's a Wonderful Life", no doubt. One of my favorites of all time, in any category.

A Christmas Story RULES but I kinda have a weakness for bill murry's weirdness and actually liked Scrooged. Bad Santa though, that was indulgent. Really got me into the holiday spirit.

I can't believe I forgot Scrooged! That is one of my favorites too - just rented it for the girls and they watched it three times.

A Christmas Story and Elf.

A Christmas Story and Elf. Dan, I agree that the end scenes in Central Park were contrived, but they do such a good job of incorporating elements from my beloved claymation specials (Will Ferrell floating away on an iceberg, etc), all the while creating a new story, that I can't help but love it. ("Work! Make work your new favorite.")
