Happy Repeal Day

DNA's picture

Today is the 75th Anniversay of the repeal of the 18th Ammendment restoring alcohol to the people.

So grab a beer and celebrate. Little know fact, did you know that the "33" on the old Rolling Rock label stood for 1933, the year prohibition was repealed?

Also, many of you aren't aware, but I give tours of the Fishtown Beer Brewing Factory, located at N39°58.96476, W075°7.66512. Come by on Saturday for a free tour and a free beer and let's celebrate Repeal Day!

Incidentally, Andrew

Incidentally, Andrew Volstead is a relative of my wife's.
My side of the family had Elmer Rice, a Fishtowner who played banjo in the Speakeasies.

And, as we all know, P stands for Fishtown.

Or, as George calls it, "Friday".
