Camping Supply and/or Army Surplus store

Are there any in the area? Maybe in the Northeast somewhere?

I'm looking for more than what they normally have at the chain sporting goods stores.

I'm also looking for a place to get sheets of hard Styrofoam. I don't even know what type of store to get that stuff.

Dicks Sporting Goods

Dicks Sporting Goods normally carries a bigger selection of camping items. What are you looking for? We camp all the time and I'd be happy to loan you gear. Can't help with the styrofoam.

The best, somewhat local

The best, somewhat local camping store is REI, out near Conshohocken/Plymouth Meeting on Ridge ave.

Thanks for the offer but I'm not actually going camping, just need stuff that is in the realm of camping supply type things. I went to the Dick's in Cherry Hill and they didn't have what I wanted.

And thanks for the info everyone but I'm trying to go to center city because it's totally out of the way for me these days and I'm insanely busy. I've been trying to get sometime to go to REI but can never make the hike to Conshohocken/Plymouth Meeting (and aren't they kind of expensive).

I think I'm just going to try online and hope when it gets delivered nobody steals my package.
