Rather than continue to de-rail the Whole Hog thread, I decided to write a piece about this:
http://phillylawblog.wordpress.com/2012/03/23/why-we-should-eat-milkshake-the-pig/
There's a video in the thread that's a bit graphic.

Guys, seriously? The Whole Hog event happens every year at Greensgrow and there's nothing in this year's invitation that says they are going to eat Milkshake...at least not that I saw. I'm all for knowing where our food comes from, but I just don't want to start rumors and get everyone in an uproar over nothing.

That's my point. Would people eat Baconators if they had to look their dinner in the eye first?
Eating meat is a sacrifice. Something dies. It's unpleasant. And we forget that.

Hate to spoil the fun but I did ask this very same question last week while at Greensgrow. They will NOT be eating Milkshake. Milkshake is a potbelly pig and not so good to eat as they are mostly organs.
